Welcome 2024!

Hello and welcome to Vibing High with Vanessa! 

  Today we are talking about the new year, 2024!

I dive deep into spirituality online, sometimes it’s a good thing, sometimes not, as it's the internet, but everyone has been talking about how it's the year of the dragon and the year of eight. Eight represents endings of big cycles, karma, power, trust, infinity, wealth, business sense, and balance. 

My life path number is 7, but I know people with a lifepath 8. I'm talking about the destiny number made by adding the full date of your birthday one number at a time until you get a single digit or 11, 22, or 33. These numbers can help you understand your personality and place in the world. 

Eight is a very lucky number, bringing stability to the universe through its infinite cycles. It is confident, powerful and great for manifesting. 

I am really excited for this year, although I don’t know what is happening yet. I am surrendering control to God because I am a flawed human and God’s guidance is best. I just quit my 9-5 job and am working from home. I got a job and am running my business, making podcasts, Youtube videos and trying hard to expand.

But God has put me on a different journey than I first thought. I thought I was supposed to keep working hard, and harder, forever. But I am at home, needing so much rest, needing to sit and talk to God, take care of my house and do all the things I never let myself do typically, things I should be doing daily. 

It feels like an illegal break, to not be working in a traditional sense, to be in two places and being at once. 

I don't think much compared to the feeling of not working a 9-5. Once I let myself feel that feeling I was jumping up and down, proclaiming to my cat, I felt true freedom. Life is still work, I still have to do hard things. I have to  learn new things everyday, constantly grow, and learn how to be nice to myself. 

This morning I messed up my new work training by not double checking what time it starts. I was embarrassed and mad at myself. I know how capable I am and how easily I could’ve just made sure to start work at the right time. I think that's why God is giving me this time. I have to adjust to a great reality. I have to remember how to co-create and manifest daily. 

Our minds are so powerful but 9-5 jobs and typical societal situations bring our vibe down and put doubt and fear into our heads. I want to live freely, authentically, in health and wealth. I hope you do too, because we all deserve joy from a good and comfortable life. 

I don’t know about you but I am welcoming the year of eight and the year of the dragon in the Chinese zodiac, because I want rapid, transformational change this year. I am welcoming the balance, wealth, and cycle breaking power we now possess. Eight is ruled by Capricorn and the planet Saturn, which are attributed to determination and leadership. So if you are thinking about starting a business this year, it might just be a good idea. 

I think it is time we all make our 2024 plans, if you haven’t already. 

I have business goals and personal goals for 2024. Some are getting 100k followers on Instagram, become recognized, and sell more digital products. Most importantly I want to help people. I want to help others realize who they are and how capable they are, and how they can call their power back to themselves. That is the general theme for 2024, with that being said, it all feels a bit intense. 

Don’t forget to take breaks and be kind to yourself. We are human and God knows it. Spirit wants us to be happy and we can do that if we start with loving the self. This year is about balance as much as it is about power. Thank you for listening to my podcast, I will talk to you soon!
